Wild Clay: The Story of NC Clay

Wild Clay: The Story of NC Clay is an exhibition focused on one of North Carolina's most important natural resources. This is an educational exhibit to highlight the importance of cultivating and understanding the materials ceramic artists utilize and the work that has been done in North Carolina to enrich our clay culture.  We will use raw and fired test samples, photos, maps, and select historical and contemporary pots to explore the materials and geography that is the foundation of NC pottery.  

Exhibition Dates: May 26 - August 19, 2017

Opening Reception will be informally part of the main conference events.
