Coll Minogue is co-editor/publisher of The Log Book – international wood-fired ceramics publication (now in its seventeenth year), and has been involved in woodfiring since she was first introduced to the process whilst working in Australia in 1983. After graduating from art school she spent three years as a full-time lecturer in ceramics at a third level college in Ireland, before becoming a professional potter in 1982. Coll is a founder member of the International Ceramic Magazine Editors Association. Wood-fired Ceramics – Contemporary Practices, the book she co-wrote with Robert Sanderson, was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2000. Coll has led workshops and presented papers at ceramics conferences in Korea, China, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, and the UK.
