Anthony is the founder of Schaller Gallery in Saint Joseph, Michigan. The gallery focuses on functional ceramics with a strong showing of wood fired work.
In his work he uses many natural and experimental materials; granite, jasper, rust, lava, and beach sand. His work displays a love for edge, line, and texture with aesthetic values coming from historical ceramics of the Middle and Far East.
Anthony has worked as a curator and professor and continues to present workshops, lectures, critiques and discussions at universities and art centers across North America. He is currently working to expand the gallery and implement a professional development program to help others achieve their goals in the arts.
